Qualifying Criteria
1. Refreshments served to Executive Management
• Provide tea and coffee on arrival, 10 am, 2 pm and on request.
2. Staff refreshments
• Ensure that kitchens are stocked with coffee, tea, milk and sugar;
• Ensure the crockery and cutlery are available and clean at all times.
3. Refreshments for meetings
• Prepare refreshments prior to the start of the meeting.
• Clear away crockery and cutlery directly after the meeting.
4. Coffee stations
• Keep these areas clean.
• Maintain stock levels for coffee, tea, milk and sugar.
• Maintain clean crockery and cutlery at these stations.
5. Cleaning of kitchen and canteen area
• Kitchen – Counter tops, handles, crockery and cutlery, containers, cupboards, microwave and dishwasher.
• Coffee stations and machines.
• Fridges – Empty every Friday, Defrost every alternate month.
• All areas are sanitized frequently.
• Cutlery and crockery are available at all times
6. Stock management (Kitchen and bathroom)
• Compilation of stock reports in relation to goods under the care of the refreshment server.
• Stock maintenance of Groceries – every two weeks
• Stock maintenance of Crockery and Cutlery – every three months.
• Ordering of refreshments (tea, coffee, milk etc.)
7. Cleaning of offices and work areas
• Clean and create an orderly environment.
• Ensure that all offices and work areas are clean and tidy.
• All areas are sanitized frequently.
8. Cleaning of meeting rooms
• Ensure that the meeting room is clean and tidy.
• All areas are sanitized frequently.
9. Servicing of common areas
• Cleaning of floors, bathrooms, reception, storerooms and passage are clean and tidy.
• All areas are sanitized frequently.
10. Stocking Essential Necessities in the Bathrooms and kitchen
• Stocking of toilet necessities (paper, air freshener, soap and cleaning materials/detergents).
11. Relieve switchboard and reception
• Answer calls efficiently and promptly while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Level of compliance with appropriate standards2 for collecting and communicating (forwarding) messages.
• Re-route calls to various departments/staff.
• Handle all queries efficiently and in the most appropriate and professional manner possible.
• Welcome visitors and notify staff members of visitors.
12. Adhoc duties
• Perform any reasonable task as and when required by the Facilities Team Leader.
